So while The Voice is helping to fast track a whole new batch of potential stars, there are some artists who take it upon themselves to just give it a crack and release songs and videos all on the own. . .without reality TV judges to criticise them or perhaps advise them NOT TO GIVE UP THEIR DAY JOB. Seriously. If only someone had told Lisa Gail Allred that she’d probably be better off focusing on her other talents.

And this video for ‘3 Second Rule’ stands as a reminder. BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT YOU POST ON YOUTUBE – it may come back to haunt you. Poor Lisa came to her senses and removed this video only to see it reposted by a mystery ‘fan’. Ouch.
