Crooks Caught

Two Risdon Prison inmates are back in custody after five days on the run.

19 year old Kyle Leslie Lynch and 22 year old James Peter Sampson will front court in Launceston today after walking out of Hobart's minimum security Ron Barwick facility on Saturday.

It sparked a statewide manhunt before officers acting on several tip-offs went to a home at Exeter, subduing the pair after a short struggle.

Two people will be charged with harbouring the escapees.
